The Solution
They installed the Kento Hybrid® Rotary Die Cutter 66 x 82, a platform designed to bring a new level of flexibility to corrugated printing and converting.
The line integrates up to 3 flexographic printing units with OPV coating, a 600 dpi single-pass digital print engine, and a rotary die-cutting unit with SERRAPID technology by SERRA. A patented flexo-digital register control system, managed by proprietary vision technology, ensures precision between technologies.
Results
The line's versatility allows operation in three modes: pure flexo for high-speed long runs, digital single-pass for short runs and versioning, and standalone rotary die-cutting when printing is not required. Larger format capability in digital mode expands production possibilities.
